As the Championship has been thriving in promoting motorsports internationally, this season we are expecting a high number of participants from all over the world, to compete in this much-awaited series in the region.
This year’s edition would increase the bars in competitive races as we open the doors to all qualified International Drivers who yearn to compete amongst the MENA Nationals and Residents.
OUR HISTORY:
In 2020, under the auspices of the FIA Sport Grant Programme, Oman Automobile Association launched the first running of the MENA Karting Championship Nations Cup in Oman held in Muscat Speedway Circuit, taking place alongside the MENA Congress in which more than 20 countries participated from within the MENA region.
In 2021, the MENA Cup had significantly doubled the number of registered participants in comparison to the first edition, in spite of the many challenges brought by the Covid pandemic.
Attended by almost a thousand visitors comprised of drivers, supporting teams, officials, media, spectators, and local sponsors, the whole venue was set up by hundreds of tents within the track surroundings dedicated to each ASN and their teams.
Now here we are in 2022, where the MENA Cup is evolving and is in its third edition, which will take place from 13th to 17th December.
